Fantasy religions are often considered pagan because they draw inspiration from ancient polytheistic belief systems that existed before the spread of monotheistic religions like Christianity and Islam. These pagan religions typically involve worshiping multiple gods and goddesses, nature spirits, and other supernatural beings.
